Painting a Garden

January...
blah humbug....
~ Nothing excites me in January~
except dreaming of
"how to Paint my garden".

You mean "plant the garden?"
No,
"paint the garden".

I'm dreaming of a garden with texture and color in my window frame.

Window vignettes should be full of color and interesting texture everyday, all year long.

Last year was a difficult year because of a drought.  But his year I am hopeful!

Yes!  Once again, I'm Naively hopeful.
How to Paint a Garden?

1.  Find inspirational images
2.  Take photos as it is now
3.  Compare summer photos (winter, spring and fall) - objectively
3.  Dare to dream of what could be
4.  Take one step ...

You are one step closer

this is how I paint my garden.

Companion flowers

Daylilys -a companion for them...

I stumbled upon a garden forum at Gardenweb with most everything I wanted to study by poster herb lady.   I am not sure how to repost other's work in a blog, except to give them credit.
My blog is for my own personal study of gardening.
Below is a repost with some of my own moderations (photos are linked to the original post)
